Beginning Embodiment Practice: Neutral Noticing
To use the body as a source of wisdom that can guide the choices we make and the actions we take, we must first learn how to pause and check in. This practice breaks down the question, ‘how do we actually listen to the body?’ We will use sensation in the bottoms of our feet as our anchor point to practice neutral awareness. If the bottoms of your feet do not feel like a neutral area in your body, you may instead use your hands, fingertips, or any other area you feel has very little or no judgement associated with it.
