Non-Attachment to Thoughts

You are not expected to have a ‘still mind’ in meditation, rather, the practice is to notice, without judgement, the tendency of the mind to fluctuate from thought to thought. Here you will practice recognizing the thinking tendency, and instead of following a ‘train of thought’, letting thoughts go as quickly as they come. You will then find the peace that exists in the present moment. This is a practice to return to again and again
